Directions

Shortly after the lodge, take the turning on the right ('West Dene' on the corner), past some old cottages on the right and the back garden of Whitehall on the left.

Description

Whitehall is a large timber-framed house dating from about 1500 and restored in 1975-6. Open Wednesday to Sunday afternoons and Saturday morning (small fee). Free admission to the tearoom and shop.
