This community garden provides social and horticultural therapy, training and volunteering opportunities for people experiencing ill health or disadvantage due to age, health or disability. The garden, which received an Outstanding It's Your Neighbourhood award and a Silver Gilt Community London in Bloom award in 2021, offers gardening and outreach services to day centres and organisations. Herbaceous borders, a herb and sensory area, vegetable garden, woodland, wildlife ponds, small urban meadows and a glasshouse are maintained by volunteers and those benefitting from services offered. Highlights include the ornamental ‘Wish You Well’ area, Silent Space zone and a training apiary.
On sale: organically-grown plants, vegetables and herbs. Garden-made gifts including jams, chutneys, honey, seeds and herbal bath treats. Vintage pop-up café with snacks and home-made cakes; wine and beer will be available in the afternoon/evening.
