West London Bowling Club, established in 1903, is the only Lawn Bowling Club in the borough. It was part of William St Quintin's progressive vision to provide sports and recreation in the back-lands of his Estate. For many years the Club produced champion bowlers and won awards for its garden. Unfortunately, the garden suffered a long period of neglect until 2015, when the Club's volunteers started work on restoring the areas around the Green, in addition to planting new roses and fruit trees. This restoration is ongoing following the pandemic.

This garden is part of the Ladbroke Estate and featured in the film 'Notting Hill'. Thomas Allason's plan of 1823 allowed for generous communal gardens, organised in a concentric layout of crescents.
