The Garden

John Betts House provides sheltered housing for the over 60s, managed by Hammersmith United Charities. This garden is an oasis of tranquillity providing residents with a place to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.  In 2023, The London Gardens Society awarded the garden a bronze award for best small community garden. One resident also won bronze and silver awards for their own balcony and container displays in the almshouse category.

This is a sister garden to Sycamore House and features many interesting varieties as well as hanging baskets, a greenhouse, citrus trees and raised vegetable beds.
