Sycamore House provides sheltered housing for the over 60s, managed by Hammersmith United Charities. This garden is an oasis of tranquillity in the middle of Shepherd's Bush and provides a space for residents to enjoy. Many immerse themselves in the sounds and sights of nature, reading the paper alone or catching up with a friend over a cup of tea. Some residents have their own small plots and pots to get involved in the practical nature of gardening, planting, watering and weeding at their pleasure.
This is a sister garden to John Betts House and includes plants to encourage wildlife, a pond, pergola and a large community greenhouse.
