The Garden

West London Bowling Club, established in 1903, is the only Lawn Bowling Club in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It was part of Sir William St Quintin's progressive vision to provide sports, recreation and tree-lined avenues to his London estate. For many years, the Club produced champion bowlers and won awards for its garden. Unfortunately, the garden suffered a long period of neglect until 2015, when the Club's volunteers started work on restoring the areas around the Green, in addition to planting new roses and fruit trees. This restoration is ongoing.
