Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments SW6

Open Saturday: 11:30–15:30

Allotment site of 406 plots on an Anglo-Saxon site within reputedly the largest moated area in Europe. Run by dedicated volunteers, with a wide variety of plot-holders.


John Betts House W12

Open Saturday: 13:00–17:00

Award-winning communal garden for almshouse residents. Interesting plants, hanging baskets, greenhouse, raised vegetable beds, water feature and balconies with residents' container gardens.

Award-winning one-acre site and important learning resource centre which grows more than 40 varieties of produce with the help of the adjacent school and local residents.


Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses W6

These two large glasshouses and a walled garden have been brought back to life after falling into disrepair. Café next door.


Sycamore House W6

This hidden garden at a sheltered housing scheme in the middle of Shepherd's Bush features plants to encourage bees and butterflies, a pond, pergola, arches and a large community greenhouse.

Georgian house, home of printer and antiquary Emery Walker, friend of William Morris. Platform overlooking the River. Conservatory with a grapevine from a cutting from Hogarth's House. Plus flowers that feature in William and May Morris designs.
