A hidden secret garden with a unique story and many delights in the planting. A small paved area includes a pond and fountain. Within the narrow space, climbers cover the walls and pots brim with foliages to create texture and colour.


Southwark Cathedral Deanery SE1

A delightful historic garden belonging to the private residence of the Dean of Southwark Cathedral. Secluded and hidden from the bustle of tourists, it provides a peaceful haven for wildlife.


Community Garden at Tate Modern SE1

Awarded a Green Flag 2020/21, and a Gold in London in Bloom. A stunning gated garden just 100 yards from the River Thames, Tate Modern and Globe Theatre. A bridged wildlife pond, fernery, raised herb beds, grape vines and native flowerbeds.

Previously a building site from the late 1930s. Now a 16-plot allotment with newly created wildlife space and an established beehive network.

This award-winning oasis of green space in south London is open to all, seven days a week. Walworth Garden, with fruit trees, sub-tropical planting and glasshouses, is also home to a horticultural training centre and a vast array of wildlife.

Community garden a stone's throw from Borough High Street, set around two large and contrasting courtyards - one in full sun and exotic, one in shade and planted in shades of white and green.


Merrick Square SE1

Small, quiet, well-maintained garden square of 1853-6, usually open to residents only, which featured in a 2018 Disney film.


Trinity Church Square SE1

Formal garden square originally laid out between 1824 and 1832 on land belonging to the Corporation of Trinity House. Contains one of the oldest statues in London, dating from the 1st or 2nd century.
