90 minutes – virtual, live and fully interactive, then on demand until 12 July.
Explore London’s (not normally open to the public) formal squares, historic allotments, award-winning community spaces and wonder at the breath-taking rooftop gardens.
The exciting programme will be presented by Sarah Greene, live from a London studio with guest interviews, including Peter Fiori, Executive Chef at Coutts Skyline Garden, and interactive fun for all the family (a quiz to test your horticultural knowledge and a prize competition). Beautifully shot film will also give ticket-holders the opportunity to go ‘virtually’ through the gates of some of London’s finest and most interesting hidden gardens and meet the people that both enjoy and are responsible for maintaining, these spectacular green spaces.
The London Open Gardens virtual event is the annual fundraiser for the London Gardens Trust – replacing Open Garden Squares Weekend during the pandemic. Our mission is to celebrate the best of London’s historic landscapes, grow London’s love of outdoors and protect these vital spaces for the benefit of everyone. Purchasing your ticket enables us to continue that work.
Ticket-buyers will have the opportunity to watch the event on demand for at least a month afterwards – on demand will be available from 4pm Monday 14th June 2021.
