Under normal circumstances, the Trust organises guided walks throughout the year for our members. We hope to be able to run the planned walks (outlined below) over the next few walks, following a safe social distancing policy.
The East of the City
Wednesday, 12th August, 2.30pm – 4.30pm
We will start at Tower Hill Station and go from the Roman Wall via the great fire and the blitz to a recent spectacular public plaza. This is an area of streetscape and building history and associations with people from the past. We will visit over a dozen sites.
Leader: John Goodier, Member and Walks Advisory Group

Dr Phil Askew will lead the tour around some of Thamesmead’s unique landscape and describe how our Green Infrastructure Framework, ‘Living in the Landscape’, is driving our approach to landscape and placemaking by making the most of the extraordinary landscape we own and manage.
