The Trust relies mainly on volunteers to carry out its important work, whether carrying out research, responding to planning applications that will encroach on much loved green space or working with others to celebrate London’s amazing hidden squares and gardens.
The Trust is governed by a group of Trustees elected at our AGM by our members. The Board of Trustees meets between 6 and 7 times a year to discuss matters affecting the future of the Trust. They usually take responsibility for a particular area of our work, whether leading on Events managements, or Fund raising.
The Trust employs a Director and an Administrator both part-time. The Trust also has the benefit of two key posts funded by grants – a Volunteer Coordinator (funded through the National Lottery Heritage Fund) and a Planning Conservation Project Officer (funded through Historic England’s Capital Grants Programme).
