Our annual journal
In 2021 The London Gardener – London Parks & Gardens’ much acclaimed annual journal – celebrated a very special anniversary: over the past quarter of a century it has published 218 articles by 123 authors on a diverse range of fascinating aspects of London’s landscape history. With explorations of little-known sites, obscure individuals and unimagined connections, or offering new perspectives on more familiar people and places, The London Gardener has consistently shone a highly individual sidelight on the myriad-faceted nature of the metropolis’s parks and gardens.
Now available on line
We are delighted to mark this anniversary by the digitisation of the entire 25-year run of the journal and making it available on line, with immediate effect, on the dedicated website https://www.thelondongardener.org.uk
This project has been very generously funded by the Deborah Loeb Brice Donor Advised Fund at CAF and the Finnis Scott Foundation. It fulfils the Trust’s aim to make the journal and its contents more widely available to a much greater audience across London, the UK and abroad, for the benefit – for free – of anyone and everyone who has an interest in the role of landscape in shaping the history of this great metropolis.
