Stoneyfields Park (Barnet)
Brief Description
Deans Brook rises on Mill Hill Golf Course and flows into the north of Stoneyfields Park where there is an area of woodland with willow overhanging the water. The stream has been widened in the middle of the park to form an ornamental lake, with a cascade as the stream flows downstream, its route taking a more natural course beyond the stone-lined channel where there is further woodland. There are a number of older trees within the park, including oaks, which pre-date the layout as a public park.
