Pinner Village Gardens (Harrow)
Brief Description
Pinner Village Gardens were laid out at the same time as the development of the 1920s suburb. The park incorporates some notable earlier oak trees and is laid out with winding paths across the lawns, with good perimeter planting of shrubs and specimen trees, floral displays in raised beds and a rose garden. Narrow rig ridge and furrow in the south part of the park is a reminder of the previous use of the land for farming from medieval times, and is the nearest surviving to central London.
