This was once the site of an C18th landscape, with a garden wall of the house dating from the 1800s. The medieval East Cheam Manor House was demolished in 1800 and Lower Cheam House was built on the site to the south. This too was demolished and land attached was redeveloped in the mid C20th, the 1960s development at Antrobus Close and Carlisle Road now occupying the site. There may be remains of the Jacobean garden associated with this site. In front of the terrace is open space.
