Brief Description

Dale Park is a recreation ground with a ‘rough’ area along its eastern boundary with the River Wandle. The 1st edition OS Map of 1867 shows part of a playground to the south-west of the river. There are many mature trees in this area and it was once part of The Culvers Estate.
